Use iOrasis SDK to fully exploit the power of
Matrox DSX
 iOrasis fully supports the whole product range of the Matrox DSX family
that includes a full set of cardsets from the lower-end SD to the higher-end
HD products. iOrasis supports all the video I/O platforms from Matrox as
well as Matrox products that offer advanced codec support and software video
effects with no video I/O interface.
iOrasis can also be operated on a simple PC or Laptop without special
hardware over the VGA card with optional TV output. This offers the
same advanced capabilities of iOrasis for development of applications for
digital signage and plasma advertisement or program preview applications.
For compatibility reasons iOrasis also supports Matrox's Digisuite
family through the older AirProCore engine developed earlier by XVUE for
Digisuite, as well as for Blackmagic's Decklink series.
The currently supported Matrox DSX Boards and units are the following:
- X.mio family
- X.mio2 family
- DSX.io
- DSXFX
- DSX LE family
- DSX SD family
- RTX.2 and RTX.2SD
- X.Open family
All codec variations of the
above products are also
supported. As an example: DSXLE support means DSXLE100,200,300 support. The
iOrasis supported video codecs depend on the availability of the
codecs in the Matrox board used.
Notes:
- 3D capabilities require either a DSXFX board for DSX.io,
X.mio, Xmio2 or a DirectX9 compliant GPU
- Key and fill is supported in all versions of iOrasis and DSX cardsets with key and fill output capabilities.
- Audio is supported in all versions of iOrasis.
